Hello!

It's been a long time since I last posted as the past few month have been crazy busy!
So I thought what better way to get back in to blogging than to do a 'LIFE UPDATE' post...

Okay so I think the last time I posted was a few weeks before the dreaded dissertation was due in.



After many days slaving away in the library, break downs and repeating the phrase 'IM SO DONE' I actually was done! Many weeks later, it was marked and I had achieved a 2:2. Slightly disappointed it wasn't a 2:1 but MEH I've passed what more could I want. Here's a picture of an obligatory dissertation picture which I uploaded on every social media site proclaiming how proud and relieved I was. So I will be graduating on the 5th of July with a BA (Hons) Degree in Primary Education with QTS and a specialism in early years. Not just a pretty face eh?

So my dissertation was handed in, now it was time to begin the long stretch of an 8 week teaching placement. Working 13 hours a day (9-5 job?!!! PAH) many mental break downs and sequins coming out of my eyes, the eight weeks flew and I had finished! Achieving an outstanding grade.

Whilst I was on placement it was my birthday! Not just any birthday, but my 21st Birthday! So I thought it was about time I actually had a birthday party. Needless to say I got very drunk, lost my ID and made an horrendous speech. But I had an absolutely amazing night.

Now I think the last bit of 'big news' I have is that..

I AM EMPLOYED. Come September I will be a teacher of my very own class. It still doesn't seem real that I will be responsible for 30 little people. I'm excited yet extremely scared. I think these events are an acceptable excuse not to have posted for a while, right?
